As the name points out, you can use this application to convert video files from one format to another – like AVI to WMV for example. The thing is that you can do a bit more than that with Freemake Video Converter. You can load audio files and convert them to a supported output format, you can convert DVDs, you can paste a video’s URL and convert it, and you can load several images and turn them into a video slideshow. You can do all these for free, from the application’s simple interface.

You can choose between a Full and a Custom Installation. If you go with the latter option, you can choose if you want a Freemake Video Converter shortcut on your desktop and you can choose if you want to install browser plugins.
A setup wizard will help you quickly install Freemake Video Converter on your PC. But pay attention on what you click. This wizard will want to install additional software on your PC.

At the top of the application’s interface there are several buttons that you can use to load media files: Video, Audio, DVD, Photo, Paste URL.
All media files loaded into the application are displayed on the main panel of the interface.
All supported output formats are presented down at the bottom, below the main panel.

Freemake Video Converter provides support for multiple input formats: video, audio, DVD, photo, URL.
The application also provides support for multiple output formats: AVI, WMV, DVD, MPEG, MP3, FLV, Apple devices, Samsung devices, Android-powered devices, and more.
As expected from an application of this type, using it is a simple three-step process: load media files, select the output format/quality/location/other parameters, launch and wait for the conversion to complete.

Freemake Video Converter is freeware. Make a donation if you get value from the application.

Convert videos, audio tracks, DVDs, online media – you can do this for free and quite easily, thanks to Freemake Video Converter.
